Claire-Beth is a designer passionate about growing community & good health through affordable design solutions :)

…But why the double first name? Born ‘Claire Elizabeth’ she became known as ‘Claire-Beth’ to differentiate herself from all of the other people called Claire who were born in the late 1970’s (there were quite a few!).

She graduated with a Fine Art BA Hons from Goldsmith's in 2000 and then proceeded to have many adventures all over the world, gaining a lot of weird and wonderful experiences from an eclectic mix of vocations, from circus nanny & costume maker, to performance artist, set designer and HGV driver. These experiences were gained whilst living on the road and have gifted her with a fearlessness for experimentation.

Since then she has hung up her nomadic boots and now lives a quieter life, exploring new avenues of creativity. Claire-Beth was overjoyed to find The Margate School as the Uk came out of the pandemic. She studied on the course 'Visual Communication: Design, Society, Nature' - where she learned how to combine her multitude of skills, giving her a renewed sense of purpose in her local community.

Claire-Beth lives and works in a seaside town in Kent called Margate.
